NTLDR

When your an obsessive compulsive Computer Addict ,and the computer screen is your "door to nirvana" and the keyboard strokes are music to ears like they're for me , Life seems to have come to a halt without your friendly system!
and That's what happened with me last week , when My laptop crashed!! well ok it didn;t happen on it's own and i asked for it, by trying to be this Miss fix-it-all Self-taught techie that I'm not and i deleted the windows FIle ( the one which runs your OS i learnt )!
next thing u know my screen is black and it's showing the msg NTLDR missing( which i later discovere is the bane of any computer users life and is a pretty common disaster !)
so After a week of subjecting my laptop to various remedies , consulting all the possible " experts" , numerous blogs , yahoo answers , and other 'treatments' , when nothign worked, i finally Got the data retrieved from my hard disk at a service centre and reformatted the system !!
And now my laptop is working like a charm...
Moral of The story : 1)With technology , never , Never Mess around
2) When your not sure , Get professional PAID help. coz trying to fix things on your own with a half baked knowledge is getting outta teh pan into the fire.
3) Save for a rainy day. that is Back up all the imp DATA on ur comp ! and do it ASAP before u lose it for good like i almost did.
